So exactly who are Acts of Mercy?

If you have read previous news posts, the group Acts of Mercy come into many of them that involve need, poverty and deprivation for local children, the sick and the elderly.

All communities that struggle to survive need a 'heart and soul' to combat serious adversary to look after those that can no longer cope often through no fault of their own . Acts of Mercy are the 'heart and soul' of our local community.

Their members come from a church group who meet regularly and decide collectively where the biggest need is and what they can do to help the person or family that is no longer able to cope. None of them are particularly affluent and all have their own families to support. But this does not deter them. They just find a way of helping person after person, family after family and they make that all important difference time and again. Small Steps Forward on the other hand can not do anything practical to help but can financially support their efforts and donors have contributed as problems have been drawn to our attention.
