How do people in Extreme Poverty cope with World Inflation?

The simple answer is they don't and the consequences for old and young are shocking! But a good community no matter how poor, has good people in it who try to alleviate as much of the hardship for those in dire need and Miriu has a lot of good people who do as much as they can with limited resources. Acts of Mercy has proved itself to be one such group that does what it can. But really the problems are too great and too many. So SSF works every month with Acts of Mercy so that their help can go just a bit further and every month photos of the very young, the very needy and the very old comeback to us showing food bags, mosquito nets and even warm blankets for such a range of people in need. SSF transferred what we could afford this month but it really was not that much. In return so far, we have had 26 photos of old and young beneficieries each with what they have to help them through the next week or so! More photos will follow.

This is Sabina over 80 yrs now,all the sons died only remaining with the grandchildren,life had not been easy on her side.she has been for a couple of months cos she fell and broke her limb.she can not walk by herself and she is the breadwinner.

This is Yvonne.she is eighth born in a family of ten.both the parents are alive but the mother is a housewife while the father is a peasant farmer. She is a form 2 studentI met her when she was almost dropping school,since she is very discipline and honest though average academically I took her and now staying with her at my place.A of M is providing very little for her upkeep but the rest are on me so I feel she deserves the assistance.

This is Velma very discipline and hardworking girl.she is in class eight currently but very bright,both parents are alive but not staying with them.she is the one taking care of her siblings and going to school the same time,she deserves assistance

Stanley,he is 16years old and in form one.she comes from a very humble background.He had both parents but they are not staying together cos they separated.So life has not been easy for him and that's AofM came in handy to assist him go through his studies.

This little girl is Riana, She comes from a very poor family but is also a chronic asthmatic.
